Virginia Beach Convention Center is not only the biggest building in Virginia Beach, Virginia, it is also the first convention center in the United States to receive a LEED Gold Certification. It earned numerous awards as well, including the “Best Venue” title for 2018-2019. Moreover, the center is an Eco-friendly and state-of-the-art facility that can hold meetings and various events as it features capacious exhibit space, ballroom area, and meeting rooms. A 150-foot tower that is made up of four floors can also be seen on the eastern side of the center.
Situated only minutes from the coast and resort area, Virginia Beach Convention Center is surrounded by a variety of entertainment, shopping, dining, and hotels. The 4-star hotel Doubletree by Hilton Virginia Beach is one of the nearest hotels to the center. This posh hotel has an indoor pool, a sundeck, and is only 8 blocks away from the beach.
