Capital City Airport – HAR Harrisburg
Three miles southeast of Harrisburg, Capital City Airport lies in Fairview Township, York County, Pennsylvania. With airport code HAR, itis home to both the Pennsylvania Bureau of Aviation and the Pennsylvania State Police and is the sister aerodrome and designated reliever of Harrisburg International Airport. It was opened in the mid-1930s as Harrisburg’s first airline aerodrome under the name, Capital Landing Field.
