Lancaster Airport-LNS Airport is a public airport established to service Lancaster County. It is located near the central business district of Lancaster city, Pennsylvania. LNS airport is surrounded by cities like Downtown Harrisburg, and York. The Lancaster Airport Authority owns the airport. LNS airport has one functional airline - Southern Airways Express, with destination to Baltimore and Pittsburg. The LNS airport currently has two runways with extends for 2,113 meters and 1,250 meters, both with asphalted surface. LNS airport landing is also attributed mostly to general aviation and just a few military and air taxis landings.

Initially, LNS airport was developed for private use however, it was later decided to operate it as a municipal airport; guided by the Lancaster Joint aviation Committee. Over the years, LNS airport have been hosting several general aviation activities such as flight schools, aircraft rides and aircraft maintenance. There are several flight schools in LNS airport namely Dutch Country Helicopters and Adventure Flight Trainings, among the many.
