Harrisburg International Airport, also referred as HIA, is the main commercial airport servicing Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It has airport code MDT for Middleton, which refers to the town where it is situated. Located nine miles southeast of Harrisburg, the airport is the third busiest in Pennsylvania for cargo shipment and passengers’ enplanement next to Pittsburg International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport. The airport is owned and operated by the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority.
