Daegu International Airport – TAE Daegu
Daegu International Airport is an international airport located in Dong District of Daegu, South Korea. The airport serves the surrounding area of the southeast part of South Korea particularly in Daegu. Its operation is run by Korea Airports Corporation and Republic of Korea Airforce. Originally, the airport was built under the Japanese rule and was called the Taegu Airfield on January 31, 1937.

Daegu International Airport has a small passenger terminal but it boasts of its very comfortable and special design as the airport adopted the traditional Ouga elements – water, rock, pine, bamboo, and moon – together with its crane-like structure. It carries Air Busan, Asiana Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Jeju Air, Korean Air, Sichuan Airlines, Tigerair Taiwan, T’way Air and VietJet Air and serves destinations in Jeju, Kota Kinabalu, Taipei-Taoyuan, Cebu, Hongkong, Kalibu and some others. Some of the airport’s neighboring cities are Gimcheon, Hangi and Chilmaejae.
