MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre
The MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre is a multi-purpose hall, trade and convention center, and exhibition hall located in the suburb of Segambut, Kuala Lumpur. The convention center was established by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation. Matrade has already extended its utmost services to almost 400 companies for the exhibition hall. Since its operation in 2007, it has hosted a lot of trade-related events and as of 2017, the South East Asia Games was held. Around the convention center, it has an indoor exhibition area consisting of 3 halls, with 8 collapsible partitions for the meeting rooms and an outdoor exhibition area that includes a large amphitheater and a car park.
Located at the center of the Kuala Lumpur are two great hotels, such as the Wedgewood Residences Mont' Kiara and Damas Suites & Residence by Drew Homes, equipped with spacious apartments of complete room amenities. Each room is air-conditioned, and it includes a living area, a complete kitchen set, and a private bathroom. The guest's daily buffet breakfast is served in a timed schedule and they can relax and rejuvenate in the swimming pool and fitness gym. Another attraction found in the area is the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, the largest museum for Islamic arts in Southeast Asia. This museum includes 12 main galleries, which are used for the classification of artifacts. Buddhist Maha Vihara, Brickfields is a temple where the locals worship Buddha. This temple was administered and managed by the Sāsana Abhiwurdhi Wardhana Society that holds out their schedule to be conducted in the temple.
