Lutfi Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Centre
Lutfi Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Centre is a multi-purpose convention complex. It is located in Harbiye, Sisli district, Istanbul, Turkey. The center is composed of the main building, the Lütfi Kırdar Center and extension building, the Rumeli Fair and Exhibition Center together they host important conventions, concerts, fairs, exhibitions, social and cultural events. It is formerly called Istanbul Sports and Exhibition Hall and alternately called Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar ICEC. Its name was given in 1988 in honor of Lütfi Kırdar, the city’s governor and mayor during the time.
