Tamandare: Paradise of Calm and Transparent Waters
Home to one of the longest stretch of shoreline in the continent, Tamandare, Brazil is a small beach town slowly becoming one of the country’s tourist favorite. Solace, fresh air, supple vegetation, and friendly locals – these are just some of the things you can expect when you visit the town. Tamandare is only an hour and a half drive from Recife/Guararapes-Gilberto Freyre International Airport (REC), which has flights to several South American cities and a few European cities.
Best Time to Visit
Tamandare, Brazil has a dominant hot weather throughout the entire year. It is best to visit during the middle of the year from May to August when the weather is at its most comfortable. But these months also experience heavy rain, high influx of visitors, and Tamandare Brazil hotels are high-priced. Otherwise, you can visit all-year round but be prepared to stay hydrated!

Enjoy a lazy morning and chill under one of the many coconut palms in the coastline of the Carneiros Beach or Tamandare Beach. These are only two of the many undisturbed white-sanded beaches in town. The Hippocampus Project, an hour away, is an observational aquarium where you can marvel at the diverse sea life of the country. Most of Tamandare hotels are located in front of the beach. The Hotel Coral Beach is only just a few steps away from the coast and also has an outdoor pool for its guests.
