Södertälje: The Southern Indentation
Södertälje, Sweden is a city in Sodertalje. “Soder” means “south” while “talje” or “telge” was derived from an Old Swedish word, “talgh”, which means “indentation”. This refers to the long, narrow inlets connecting the area with the Baltic Sea and Malaren. The nearest airports are Eskilstuna Airport (EKT), and Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN).
