Cha-am,A Quaint Coastal Town of Beauty and Heritage
Known as a district in the southern Phetchaburi Province, Cha-am is a quaint coastal area which was established way back in 1897. Its previous name was Na Yang and was only renamed to Cha-am after World War II. There are a few dozen hotels and accommodations available in the area. Best Time to Visit
Cha-am experiences hot weather all year long. That said, late November to mid-April is the best months to book a trip to the city as summer can be pretty hot for outdoor activities. However, if you’re in for the festivities, March is the best choice. During this month, city celebrates its Chao PorKhaoYai Festival, a five-day-long event which pays tribute to Chao PorKhaoYai who is recognized as Cha-am’s spiritual father. Tourism is slow during this season, so more Cha-am, Thailand hotels offer cheap room rates. The busiest month for the city is in January.
