The district of Tha Yang, located under the rule of the province of Phetchaburi, was previously known as Yang Yong. It is composed of 12 sub-districts, with a total of 119 villages. The closest airport from Tha Yang, Thailand is Hua Hin International Airport (HHQ), found in the nearby city of Hua Hin. This is only around a half-hour drive to the town as compared to the Chumphon Airport (CJM) located almost four hours away.
