Xuzhou Guanyin International Airport is located in the Jiangsu Province specifically in Xuzhou, China, which is under the Suining County. It is the 62nd busiest commercial airport in the People’s Republic of China. Its exact location is 28 miles southeast of the city. It opened in 1997 with its construction funded by the Xuzhou Municipal Government.

Xuzhou Guanyin International Airport has a single concrete runway measuring 3,400 meters in length. Its first terminal building has a land area of 220,000 square feet. The second terminal was built on 2018 measuring 34,000 square meters. It is equipped with 20 check-in counters, 10 automated check-in machines, 10 security checkpoints, more than a thousand seats and eight jet bridges. The second terminal has an estimated capacity of five million passengers and 50 metric tons of cargo yearly. The refrigeration, heating and partial power is provided by a natural gas energy system. Terminal 1 is used for regional international flights while Terminal 2 is used exclusively for domestic flights. Among the several airlines serving the airport, Air Guilin, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Lucky Air, Sichuan Airlines and Spring Airlines serves the most number of flights to a number of cities. Some of the destinations are in Beihai, Changchun, Xiamen, Yichang, Sanya and many others. The airport is surrounded by many cities like Zizhuang and Xuzhou.
