Windsor, NY is a town in Broome County that has long been settled by different groups of indigenous people (IP). Formally established as a town in 1807, it is one of the oldest towns in the county.

The best time to visit Windsor is during the months of May through October, for the perfect weather. The busiest months are usually July, August, and September. Tourists are least likely to visit in December. Every July, Broome County Fair is held in Whitney Point. Organized by Broome County Agricultural Society, it provides educational opportunities as it promotes local agriculture and traditions. Some of the most prominent features of the event are contests, food, livestock auctions, and tractor pulls.

Storm King Art Center is one of the most famous attractions nearby. It is an outdoor museum known for its large-scale sculptures.
