Considered to be the 12th largest airport in Sweden, Visby Airport (VBY) is the only airport for commercial use located in the province of Gotland. It is about 2.2 miles north of Visby, the municipality seat of Gotland. It is run by Swedavia, which is known to operate the busiest airports in Sweden. There are 5 airlines conducting flights to and from this public airport namely: BRA Braathens Regional Airlines, Finnair, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Scandinavian Airlines and Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia.
