Located in the Lisbon district, Torres Vedras, Portugal is a municipality lying 30 miles from the capital city of Lisbon. Running for almost a week in either February or March, the Carnival of Torres Vaderas is something you dare not miss while in the city. This highly awaited event features gigantic floats of locals in costume and certainly brings a festive vibe to the town. Thankfully, the temperature during these months is comfortable for outdoor activities. However, this also meant more tourists would come to the area. The spring season from March to May is actually the busiest in Torres Vedras, fully booking most of Torres Vedras, Portugal hotels.
