Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport is based on the outskirts of Yaoqiang and serves Jinan, China. The airport has a code of TNA and hosts nearly 40 passenger airlines, including Korean Air, Scoot, Air China, and GX Airlines. These fly passengers all over China and certain regions of Southeast Asia. In 2018, Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport was the 25th busiest airport in all of China, accommodating over 16 million passengers and ferrying over 100,000 tons of cargo. It has a single concrete runway that measures 2.24 miles.
Best Time to Visit
Despite the availability of different transportation options, the large volume of passengers that regularly pass through the airport often make acquiring transport upon arrival difficult for some travelers. Through car rentals, Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport is accessible to a few nearby cities. Changqing is only a little over an hour away, while Jiyang County in Jinan is only a half an hour’s distance away.
