Tartu Airport – TAY Airport
Tartu Airport is a public airport in Tartu,Estonia that serves the regions of Reola, Ulenurme Parish and its nearby regions. It is operated by the Tallinn Airport Ltd and located in the second largest city of the country. TAY Airport is also popularly called Ulenurme Airport due to its close proximity to the region. The airport is also conveniently located close to the E263 or the Tallin-Tartu-Voru-Luhamaa Highway. It was opened back in May 1946 sitting 67 meters above mean sea level.

A single asphalt/concrete runway operates in the Tartu Airport. In 2017, the airport had a total of 30,296-passenger traffic and 4,916 aircraft movements. The only airline operating in the airport is Finnair that serves flights to Helsinki daily seven times a week. Its current terminal was built from 1981 as well as its current 1,799 meter runway and taxiway. The airport has been under Tallin Airport Ltd since 2005. Estonian Air and airBaltic used to operate flights in the region back in 2012 and 2011 respectively. Tartu in eastern Estonia is a city loved for its culture, gardens, museums and fun activities available in its planetarium the AHHAA Science Centre.
