São Filipe Airport – SFL São Filipe
Situated on the island of Fogo, 1.2 miles southwest of São Filipe is the fifth most used airport in Cape Verde. São Filipe Airport is a public-use airport serving São Filipe, a city on the west coast of the island. The airport is operated by Aeroportos e SegurançaAérea and is used for domestic flights. Three airlines namely Binter CV, Cabo Verde Airlines and Cabo Verde Express are the only airlines that operate in the airport, serving scheduled flights to Prai and Sal. In 2017, a total of 72,949 passengers has been served by the airport.

São Filipe Airport is elevated 558 feet above mean sea level and has a single asphalt-paved runway that measures 4,429 feet in length. The city of São Filipe, where the airport can be found is popular for the majestic volcanoes that surround it.
