The perfect time to visit Seririt is during the months of June through November, for the best weather. Peak tourist season is usually during the months of March, April, and June. Tourists are least likely to visit in September. One of the most anticipated events in the area is Bali Arts Festival (PKB), which is held every mid-June until mid-July. Mainly, it celebrates, develops, and preserves Balinese art and culture. It is considered as the longest-running arts festival in the country, having been introduced in 1979. It usually starts with a parade. Every day for 1 month, traditional Balinese artists perform. Exhibits include those on art, Balinese cuisine, handicrafts, among others. It also features competitions and seminars.

One of the most popular attractions in the area is Uluwatu Temple, a Hindu sea temple dedicated to Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. It is widely inhabited by monkeys. Every day at 6pm, a Kecak dance performance based on the Ramayana is held. Another must-see attraction in the area is Goa Gajah or Elephant Cave, which was once a sanctuary.
