Santiago, Panama is the capital of Veraguas. It is considered the largest city in the country. Geographically, it is located in the Inter American Highway. It is in between the cities of David and Panama. The town is acting as an important transportation area located in Panama center. The city offers a little when it comes to the interests of visitors. Every year, on July 25 there is a huge festival in town. That said the event is held in the Central Plaza of Cathedral Santiago Apostol. The festival is celebrated to commemorate the patron saint of the city. There are parades and pilgrimages happening in town. Santiago hotels are all occupied during this time of the year.
