San Vicente: City of Endless Sea
From one of the country’s distinguished islands called Palawan is the municipality of San Vicente, Philippines. It is home to the longest white sand beach in the country. Many travelers choose the island as one of the best summer destinations in Southeast Asia but the quiet town of San Vicente is still yet to be a major tourist attraction. The San Vicente Airport (SWL) was recently opened in 2017 in order to gain more attention from travelers.
Best Time to Visit
San Vicente, PH experiences a tropical climate. There are only two distinct seasons: dry and wet. As Philippines is an archipelago renowned for its islands and beaches, summer season from months March to June are definitely rushing with vacationers. The Malagnang Mud Festival is yearly celebrated every June. An undisturbed long stretch of white sand beach called the Long Beach awaits you at San Vicente. There is also a cliff, Bato ni NingNing, which has a viewing deck you can go to overlooking the beach and as well as witness mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets.
