Safior Asfi is a city in western Morocco. Being the capital of Asfi Province, it has a population of 308,508 as of 2014 census. Safi means to flood or to spill. The city is also historic for being one of the sites in the Torch Operation. Safi is also the center of Morocco’s industry for sardines and also engage in exporting products made from phosphate and ceramic.
