Based on the region’s climate, the best time of the year to visit Saanen, Switzerland is from early June to early September. The Classical concert is a big event in Saanen. It is a traditional classical concert held in the church of Saanen performed by Orchestra degli Amici.

For walking, sight-seeing, or picnic the Lauenensee are two charming alpine lakes suited for such activities. The town is also home to the Rinderberg, a large ski area.
