Platanias: Get Lost in the Charm of Chania
The village and municipality of Platanias, Greece is located about 10 km west from the city of Chania. In 2011, a local government reform merged four municipalities – Kolymvari, Mousouroi, Platanias, and Voukolies – that lies within the Chania regional unit.

The best time to visit Platanias, Greece is between late May and early October when the sun is hot and the Greek water is perfect for swimming.
