Perast is proud to be the host of Montenegro’s longest-running festival, the Fascinada. The event is already more than 500 years old and celebrates the church of Our Lady of the Rocks, built on the artificial island off the coast of the town. This is held every July when most of the tourists also come to the city for the beach activities. That said, expect crowded Perast, Montenegro hotels as the accommodations in the town are already packed by June.
