The Beijing Capital International Airport is located 20 miles from the Beijing city center, in the Chaoyang and Shunyi Districts. It is the main international airport serving Beijing, China. This public international airport is operated by the Beijing Capital International Airport Company Limited. Opened in 1958, it serves as the hub for several China-based airlines including China Eastern Airlines, China Southern, Airlines, and Hainan Airlines. It is also the hub for China’s flag carrier – Air China. In addition to these, it also serves as the focus city airport for Sichuan Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, and Shandong Airlines. In addition to Beijing, Beijing Capital International Airport also serves Shunyi, Tongzhou, Changping, and Mentougou.

PEK has three terminals. Terminal 3 has a food service area referred to as ‘global kitchen’. There are 72 aerobridges in the terminals as well as remote parking bays.
