Best Time to Visit
Jay Prakash Narayan Airport (PAT) was named the Indian activist Jayaprakash Narayan who, during the rule of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the 1970s, called for a complete overthrow of the ruling government that was then plagued by rampant corruption. This movement was known as the Bihar Movement, and was one of the many achievements that posthumously earned him the Bharat Ratna award, granted only to India’s most exceptional civilians.
