Zaporizhia International Airport- OZH
Operated by the UE International Airport Zaporozhye, Zaporizhia International Airport is a public international airport found in the city of Zaporizhia, Ukraine. It is among the three aerodromes built in the area. Aside from handling passenger movement in the Zaporizhia area, the airport also serves as the home of Motor Sich, an aircraft engine factory. Zaporizhia International Airport is located by the IATA code of OZH and ICAO code of UKDE.
Best Time to Visit
The OZH-Zaporizhia International Airport was constructed in October 1943, right after the city was released from the Nazi troops. It began conducting flights to Moscow and Kyiv following the end of the war in 1945. The first passenger terminal of the airport was finished in 1965, but a new one was constructed in December 2017, which can handle a million passengers annually. Currently, there are eight airlines serving Zaporizhia International Airport, six of which operate daily, the LOT Polish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Ukraine International Airlines, SkyUp, and Motor Sich Airlines. The other four airlines offer charter and seasonal charter flights. As of 2018, the airport handled over 400,000 passengers.
