National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, or simply called Udvar-Hazy Center, is an annex that is composed of two massive hangars, namely James S. McDonnell Space Hangar and Boeing Aviation Hangar, which serve as the exhibition areas. Located in Chantilly, Virginia, the center is noted for its myriad of exhibits that touch on historic aviation and spacecraft, such as the Enola Gay, Space Shuttle Discovery, and the Gemini 7 space capsule. In addition to displays, the museum also holds numerous events per year, including book signings, lectures, educational activities, and more.
At the National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, more than 150 space artifacts and over 160 aircraft are on display. After appreciating the showcases, visitors can head to Chantilly Crossing Shopping Center to do some shopping or perhaps grab something to eat or drink.
