Mono Airport – MNY Stirling Island
The 87th Naval Construction Battalion in the Stirling Island built Mono Airport after 1943. It is located in Solomon Islands particularly the Mono Island, Solomon Island. Mono Island is known to be a diving paradise and that is what draws tourists to the city. Many cruise ships also make the island as one of the ports of call. It is also famous for its ruins from the war. Many veterans visit the place to remember the battles that happened several years passed.
