Malatya Erhaç Airport - MLX
Malatya Erhaç Airport is a public-military type airfield found 21 miles away from the city of Malatya, Turkey. The General Directorate of State Airports Authority operates the airport and handles most of the aircraft operations here, including military activities done by the army forces. While Malatya Erhaç Airport mostly handles passenger traffic from Malatya, it can also accommodate other travelers from neighboring cities. The airport is known internationally as MLX.

The airport was officially opened back in 1941. Since then, it has developed into one of the busiest in the country, accommodating no less than 100,000 international passengers and 900,000 domestic passengers annually.The terminal building of the airport was recently renovated in 2009, after a steady increase in traffic. Four airlines offer regularly scheduled flights to and from Malatya. There is also one airline whose sole service in the airport is for seasonal flights to Düsseldorf in Germany.
