Monbetsu Airport – MBE Monbetsu
Monbetsu Airport or also called Okhotsk Monbetsu Airport was established in November 1999 in the Monbetsu City in Hokkaido, which is Japan’s the second biggest primarily island. It is just 15 minutes drive from the heart of the city and is easily reached by bus coming from the terminal bus of Monbetsu. The airport is classified as joint-use airport serving the entire city of Monbetsu and its surrounding cities of Heison-shiku, Hirasato and Kugo. It bears the IATA airport code of MBE and is being managed by the local government of Monbetsu.
