LSU Health Sciences Center is a public university part of Louisiana State University System. It is a state school focused on health sciences. It is located in New Orleans, Louisiana and that mostly accepts residents of the state with minimal exemptions. It was started in 1931 as LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine founded as claimed by Governor Huey Pierce Long, Jr. The American Medical Association had given the ‘A’ rating 18 months before its operation.
