Wladyslaw Reymont Airport – LCJ Lodz, Poland

Wladyslaw Reymont Airport going by the airport code LCJ, this regional facility is situated in central Poland and covered by the Lodz community. As of 2013, the airport is ranked as 8th among the Polish airfield facilities. It was used by the German troops during World War II, its use slowly demising due to the development of the Warsaw Airport.

The facility was opened in 1925 and has gone through numerous upgrades since that time. Regular passenger flights were suspended around the 1950s before being restarted in the beginning of the 1990s. By the year 1997, new passenger terminals with a capacity of around 50,000 people were opened. Further terminals were opened in 2012, increasing passenger capacity of close to 2 million per year. As of this writing, there are three airlines operating in the facility: Onur Air, Ryanair Sun, and Ryanair with destinations to Dublin and Antalya among others. From the airport, access to the town of Uniejow, often visited for its thermal spa, is quick and easy.
