The Sihanouk International Airport is the 3rd largest airport in Cambodia. The public airport in Sinahoukville, Cambodia was named after King Norodom Sihanouk, former King of Cambodia. The airport has an IATA airport of KOS, and refers to the name “Kompong Som”, which is the airport’s other name. Travelers enter the airport to explore the vast region of Preah Sihanouk Province, which popular for its Sino-Khmer attractions. The airport was built in the 60s during the Khmer Rouge regime.
