Established in 1961, the Nepalgunj Airport is a public airport that serves the sub-metropolitan city of Nepalgunj, Nepal. It is the third largest airport in Nepal based on land area and it has the second most aircraft and passenger movements. Various domestic airlines have daily flights to KEP including Nepal Airlines, Buddha Air, Saurya Airlines, Shree Airlines, Sita Air, Summit Air, Tara Air, and Yeti Airlines. While passengers fly from Nepalguni to various parts of the country, the most popular destination from this airport is Kathmandu, Nepal. The airport is operated by the Nepalese government.
