The best time to visit Ithaca, NY is perhaps during the month of July, just the month after the busiest time. The temperatures are still warm but the lodging rates are cheaper than the peak tourism month, which is in June. Ithaca, NY hotels are particularly expensive during late spring/early summer and it is this time lodging will have higher rates especially during The Cornell Graduation week. If you are looking to avoid crowds and want affordable rates, you can choose to visit during the month of November; this is when tourist rates is at its lowest.
