Huaihua, Exploring the City of Culture and Arts
As a prefecture-level city in the province of Hunan, Huiahua, China is home to more than 4.7 million residents, making up almost 8% of the total provincial population. The city is mostly mountainous as it is bordered by the Xuefeng and Wuyi mountain ranges. To reach the city by plane, you can arrive at Daxing Airport which is about a two-hour drive from the city. February may be a little bit too cold to enjoy the outdoors in Huaihua, but this month promises visitors with the cheapest rooms at most of Huaihua, China hotels, along with a festive celebration of the annual Huaihua Beautiful Country Culture and Arts Festival. This cultural event features local art exhibits, folk performances, and Chinese operas, aiming to involve villagers in the vitalizing of the local culture. If you’re up for an enjoyable outdoor adventure in the city, better visit in March when the skies are clear, and rain showers are occasional.
