Gwalior Airport – GWL Gwalior
The Gwalior Airport is a military and public airport owned and operated by The Indian Air Force. It is located in Gwalior, India, and serves the entire Madhya Pradesh region. The region has at least six airports, and the Gwalior Airport, which has an airport code of GWL, is located within the Maharajpur Air Force Station. The GWL-Gwalior Airport is the only functioning air base that features 2 runways that run parallel, with the 2nd one added in 2010.

SpiceJet and Alliance Air are two of the domestic carriers that operate within the Gwalior Airport. The Gwalior Airport serves the cities of Dabra, Datia, Bhind, and Morena. The city of Morena features a well-connected rail transit system, and is known as an industrial and economic hub. The Gwalior Airport features two asphalt runways, each measuring 9,000 feet long. These runways and the apron can handle three aircrafts, or one small plane and 2 Airbus A320 models.
