Fresno Convention Center
Fresno Convention Center is also known as Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center. It is located within the town of Fresno, California. It is a complex made from four buildings. The three main ones were completed in 1966. Over the years, the center has undergone expansions and additions. The latest was in 1999. The convention center was previously called as Selland Arena. It was named after the previous mayor of the town. It is covering about 24,200 square feet. The seating capacity is more than 9,000 people. The convention center was once the venue for various entertainment, conference and event sports events. There is also the William Saroyan Theater within the vicinity of the convention center. It has recently undergone a renovation that includes enhancement to the VIP lounge and lobby.
