Dysert O'Dea Castle and Archaeology Centre now O'Dea Castle or Dysert O'Dea Castle is a 50 feet high Irish fortified tower house. Considered loosely as a tower, it is located 3 miles south of Corofin, County Clare, Ireland. The Centre features exhibits of local artefacts that date back from 1000 BC to 1700 AD, and these attract visitors from other countries. Aside from its names former and present, the Center is known today as Clare Archaeology Centre. Being one of the most authentic castles on the island, the Centre won the Clare Tourism Award.
