Coronel Felipe Varela International Airport – CTC Airport
Coronel Felipe Varela International Airport is a public airport serving Catamarca, Argentina. It is operated by the Government as well as Aeropuertos Argentina 2000. One airline serves the airport, also known by its code as CTC Airport, with a destination bound for Buenos Aires. As of 2016, the airport was able to handle 90,192 passengers and a total of 1,485 aircraft movements.

CTC Airport was first built in the year 1972. However, the airport was officially inaugurated in January of 1973. The terminal was constructed on June 1981 which was completed on April 1987. The airport was named after Felipe Varela, a Catamarca-born military, nicknamed “The Last Warlord”. Currently the airport stands at an elevation of 1,522 feet above mean sea level. Areolíneas Argentinas operates passenger service from Catamarca to Buenos Aires. Nearby areas such as San Isidro, Banda de Varela, and Coneta use the services available in CTC.
