Chaiyaphum: Best Park Destination
Chaiyaphum originated from the word chaiya meaning ‘victory’ and the word phum meaning ‘earth’ or ‘land’. Literally means “land of victory”. The town is one of the northeastern provinces of Thailand. It offers a lot of scenic parks and waterfalls.
Best Time to Visit
The best time of the year to visit Chaiyaphum, TH ideal for a good weather is from the month of October 22 to April 1. The busiest months for tourism are January, July and August. During these months prices of hotels and flights will be the most expensive. The least crowded and inexpensive month is April. Dok krachiao Blooming Festival, is a celebration period of the full bloom of Siamese tulips and held from June to August. The festival celebrates through musical performances, tree planting activities, and parades. Another Festival is The Chaopho Phraya Lae, a traditional dance performance, which is held yearly from the first Monday in May.

Chaiyaphun offers a lot of activities that are family friendly. One of the places to visit is Nong Pla Thao Public Park has a lake full of fish and kids loved to play around. It also have a temple, offers different types of local foods and they sold fishes to be released in the lake as a sign of good luck.
