Cervione: Captivating Historic Hill Town
Another one of the ancient towns on the island of Corsica is the enthralling Cervione, France which has a well-established history. It sits on the highest part of the Monte San Petrone, offering a splendid view of the rest of the island. A small population of not more than 2000 people reside in the town, making it the best place for a serene holiday. At the bottom part of the town, there are also plenty of seaside resorts to choose from.
Best Time to Visit
Cervione has a favorable weather, like the rest of the island, during the middle of the year when there is plenty of sun to bask in and limited rainfall. Thus, these months from June to September, would be the ideal time to visit the town. However, many tourists flock during these months as they fall under the summer season and many people want to enjoy the beach. Expect less affordable Cervione hotels too.
