The Jack Breslin Student Events Center is an arena situated at Michigan State University. Standing in East Lansing, Michigan since 1989, the facility’s name came after Jacweir “Jack” Breslin, student athlete, administrator, and advocate who passed in 1988. It is also the home of the MSU Spartans, or the men and women’s basketball teams. In 2017, the Center upgraded with a total of $50 million budget and added a new room, lounge, and the Tom Izzo Hall of History. The renovation also includes upgrading the concession stands and restrooms and the expansion of the concourse.
Located nearby is the Michigan Women’s Historical Center and Hall of Fame. It showcases more than 300 inductees, a brick patio, a gift shop, and history exhibits. You might have fun visiting nearby town of Lansing to the Potter Park Zoo, which is the home of more than 160 animal species, a lot of which are endangered or threatened. This includes red pandas, bongos, Amur tigers, snow leopards, among others.
