Boulder: A Charming Community in Wyoming
A census-designated place of the Sublette County, Wyoming, Boulder is a small neighborhood community in the south of Pinedale in New Fork River Valley. The town was initially a ranching town but now has schools and community centers. In the mid-60s, the Boulder School was integrated with the Pinedale schools. The former Boulder School has become the Boulder Community Center in the 70’s. Currently the town’s education is being serviced by the Sublette County School District #1. Boulder, WY serves a main portal for tourists who are heading to the Big Sandy, Cirque of the Towers or to the famous Yellowstone National Park.
Best Time to Visit
Boulder, WY has a semi-arid climate with long, chilling, dry winters and warm, short summers. Months from June to September are the best months to be in the town for pleasant, warm weather with less chance of rainfall. Tourists may visit in July to be part of the Green River Rendezvous.

Prepare for an adventurous ride at the Highline Trail RV Park that also offers a great place for sight seeing. Tourists may also have a thrilling exploration at the Lander Trail intersection of a former busy campsite of New Fork River.
