Bojnice: The Historical town in Central Slovakia
Bojnice is a town located in central Slovakia. It is famous for its Neo-gothic castle with museum and observation decks. To visit the wonderful town of Bojnice, tourists must fly to Sliač Airport (SLD) located between the towns of Zvolen and Banská or to Žilina Airport (ILZ) located near the village of Dolný Hričov, which is less than an hour of travel.
Best Time to Visit
Bojnice, Slovakia's most visited month is June, followed by March and May. Hotel and flight costs during these months will be the most costly. In December, visitors are unlikely to come to Bojnice, making it the least expensive month. One of the events is The International Festival of Ghost and Monsters celebrated at the end of April and beginning of May. Tourists who want to participate in the event should book ahead of time.

Bojnice offers a lot of family-friendly activities. One of these is the Bojnice Castle. It is a medieval castle with original Gothic and Renaissance elements built in the 12th century. Another attraction is the Museum of Prehistory Slovakia, an outdoor museum that contains games for visitors to engage in.
