Sitting in a vast land in Oranjestad, Aruba is Queen Beatrix International Airport. It is an international airport that services flights to several countries in the Caribbean, the United States, northern coastal countries of South America, some parts of Europe, Netherlands and Canada. AUA-Queen Beatriz Intl. was named after one of the former queens in Netherlands - Queen Princess Beatrix. The airport is the current base of the Tiara Air up until 2016.

Queen Beatrix International Airport also offers US Border pre-clearance facilities. A terminal for private aircraft use was also integrated in the airport and opened in 2007. The Airport is the current home of the Aruba Airlines, one of the local airlines in the country. During World War 2, the Sixth Air Force of the United States Army Air Force used it. Cargo airlines serviced in the airport include Ameriflight, DHL Aero Expreso, Amerijet International and Lineas Aereas Suramericanas. Oranjestad is one of the closest cities you might want to see and visit while in the area.
