A 900-year-old Benedictine Monastery made of sandstones, the Alpirsbach Abbey and Museum houses the moving Organ sculpture and a good example of Cluniac reform architecture, a fascinating way of learning the way of life of a former monastery school. Not far from this beautiful site is the Alpirsbacher Klosterbraeu Brewing World, a brewing museum where the traditional art of brewing beer is the highlight. The brewing process will be explained and beer tasting is included in the tour inside the museum.
