Aktobe International Airport – AKX Airport
Aktobi International Airport is found in the country of Kazakhstan. It is located only less than a mile southwest of the city of Aktobe. Today, the AKX Airport is one of the modern ones there are in the Republic of Kazakhstan and it holds in high regard its service to aircrafts and passengers.

AKX Airport dates back all the way too 1933 to what was once known as Aktyubinsk Airport. Through the years, the addition of equipment, building of warehouses, and building of an aviation technical base ensued. It wasn’t until 1999 that the Aktobe International Airport OJSC was re-registered. The airport currently has one small terminal and five-airliner parking. Airlines like Aeroflot, Air Astana, Bek Air, Qazaq Air, SCAT Airlines operate flights from the airport to different destinations namely Moscow-Sheremetyevo, Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Shyumkent, Atyrau, and Aktau. Sunday Airlines offer seasonal charter flights to Antalya and Sharm El Sheikh.
